The clinic

One townhouse, four floors, an MRI in the basement.

Everything is done in the building except histology. That is not a boast — it is the reason a Baseline takes half a day instead of three appointments across a fortnight.

The pathway

What actually happens, in order.

01

Before

You send your history and any existing results. A clinician reads them before you arrive, so the first thirty minutes are not spent on data entry.

02

The visit

Bloods first, at 08:30, fasted. Imaging and physiological testing follow. You are done by early afternoon.

03

The results

A 50-minute consultation, in person or by video, with the clinician who ordered the tests. Not a portal, not a PDF, not a nurse reading a printout.

04

Afterwards

A written plan naming what changes, what we watch, and what we deliberately are not doing. A copy to your NHS GP if you want one.

Refusals

The full list, with the reasoning attached.

Intravenous vitamin drips

There is no evidence they do anything for a person with normal bloods, and we would be selling a cannula.

Stem-cell or exosome infusions

Unlicensed for the indications they are marketed for in the UK. We will not administer them at any price.

Full-body scans on demand

An unindicated scan finds something in around one person in three, and most of those findings do the patient harm through the follow-up rather than good.

Testosterone without a deficiency

Two low morning readings and symptoms, or we do not prescribe it.

Ninety-marker panels every quarter

Most markers do not move meaningfully in three months. Testing them anyway generates noise, anxiety and a repeat appointment.

Questions

Answered without a call-back form.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book any programme directly. If your insurer is paying, they will usually want a GP referral first — we will tell you which of the two applies before you pay anything.

Will you write to my NHS GP?

Yes, with your consent, and we would encourage it. Care that your GP does not know about is care that will contradict itself eventually.

Is the price the whole price?

Yes for everything listed. Extras that are sometimes indicated — a calcium score, bone density in the hormone pathway — are priced separately and are always discussed before they are ordered, never added afterwards.

What if you find something serious?

You will hear it from a clinician, by telephone, the same day it is known — not in a letter. We refer into NHS or private secondary care depending on urgency and on what you want, and we will say plainly which we think is faster for your particular problem.

Can I bring results from elsewhere?

Please do. If a test was done in the last twelve months and the lab is accredited, we will not repeat it just to have it on our own headed paper.
