Diagnostics and preventive medicine, five clinicians, one price list. We also publish what we will not sell you — the drips, the unindicated scans, the testosterone — because that list says more about a private clinic than the equipment does.
Why we exist
The private health-check industry has one commercial problem: it is paid per test. So it tests more, quarterly rather than annually, and on ninety markers where twelve would do. The result is noise, incidental findings, and follow-up that does more harm than the thing it went looking for.
Meridian is built the other way round. A short list of programmes, each priced whole. A named clinician who orders your tests and then sits with you for fifty minutes to explain them. And a written plan that says what we are deliberately not doing, and why.
Programmes
Refusals
Every one of them is profitable. That is precisely why the list is on the homepage rather than buried in a policy page.
Intravenous vitamin drips
There is no evidence they do anything for a person with normal bloods, and we would be selling a cannula.
Stem-cell or exosome infusions
Unlicensed for the indications they are marketed for in the UK. We will not administer them at any price.
Full-body scans on demand
An unindicated scan finds something in around one person in three, and most of those findings do the patient harm through the follow-up rather than good.
Testosterone without a deficiency
Two low morning readings and symptoms, or we do not prescribe it.
Ninety-marker panels every quarter
Most markers do not move meaningfully in three months. Testing them anyway generates noise, anxiety and a repeat appointment.

The pathway
You send your history and any existing results. A clinician reads them before you arrive, so the first thirty minutes are not spent on data entry.
Bloods first, at 08:30, fasted. Imaging and physiological testing follow. You are done by early afternoon.
A 50-minute consultation, in person or by video, with the clinician who ordered the tests. Not a portal, not a PDF, not a nurse reading a printout.
A written plan naming what changes, what we watch, and what we deliberately are not doing. A copy to your NHS GP if you want one.

Clinicians
Four consultants and a GP, all on the GMC specialist register, all named on this website with their registration number. Your results consultation is with the clinician who ordered your tests — never a portal, and never a nurse reading a printout back to you.
Booking
Book a single Baseline and never come back if that is all you want. Nothing here auto-renews, and nothing is sold as a subscription that is hard to leave.
