Everything people dislike about heat pumps — the bills, the radiator changes, the noise — comes out of one number: how hot the water has to be. Move that number and the whole argument changes. So this site lets you move it.

What we will not do
A heat pump in a leaky house costs more to run than the gas boiler it replaced. We would rather lose the job than have you find that out in January. Insulate, then call us back — the quote will be smaller too.
MCS requires a room-by-room heat loss calculation and so does physics. Anyone quoting off a postcode and a bedroom count is guessing, and the guess is always on the small side.
You can hear it. It is roughly 42 dB at one metre — a fridge in a quiet kitchen — and it is audible at the boundary if the plot is small. We measure and we tell you before you sign.
Against a modern gas boiler at today's prices, a good install lands between a little cheaper and a little dearer, and the honest variable is your flow temperature. Against oil, LPG or old electric heating, it is a clear win.
An oversized heat pump cycles, wears and runs badly at part load. The calculation exists to be believed, including when it says 6 kW and the salesman down the road said 12.
Boiler Upgrade Scheme
We claim it, it is deducted before you pay, and you never touch the paperwork. What you do need is a valid EPC with no outstanding loft or cavity recommendation on it — which is the sentence that catches most people out.
About one enquiry in five gets told to insulate first and call us back next year. It is a bad sales tactic and a good heating system.
