Add the immigration file, the e-channel, one residence visa and the medical, and the same company is closer to AED 33,000. Every formation site in this city advertises the first number. This one gives you all nine lines, splits what goes to the government from what comes to us, and prints the year-two renewal underneath.

Government lines are passed through at cost and never marked up. Ours are the two lines that say Tasees. Figures are indicative 2026 ranges for this demonstration and change with authority pricing — ask for a written quote before you budget on them.

No physical desk is included at the entry price, so the 'address' is a service address. Some banks price that in.
Renewal has moved upward two years running. Budget an increase rather than the current figure.
Audited accounts are mandatory, a physical flexi-desk is compulsory, and it is roughly three times IFZA all-in.
Expensive, slow, and overkill for a consultancy. Most people who ask for DIFC do not need DIFC.
It is not a Dubai address. Some Dubai banks and some clients treat that as a signal, fairly or not.
A real leased office with Ejari is compulsory. That single line is what makes mainland expensive, not the licence.

None of these are hidden by the authorities. They are hidden by the people selling you the package, because each one makes the headline number worse.
The AED 12,900 headline you have seen elsewhere is real and it is also useless — one visa adds roughly AED 12,000 once the establishment card, e-channel and the stack are counted. Every figure on this site is published with the whole picture attached.
No consultant controls a bank's compliance department. We will tell you honestly which of the three banks we approach is likely to say yes given your nationality, your activity and your source of funds, and we will tell you when the honest answer is that none of them will.
It is the most-requested jurisdiction and the least-often correct one. Unless you need a regulated financial licence or common-law contracts, it is four to six times the cost of the right answer.
Voluntary registration below AED 187,500 of turnover means quarterly filings, penalties for late ones, and no benefit unless you are reclaiming input VAT. Most new companies should wait.
Your licence, your MOA, your e-channel credentials and your establishment card are yours, sent to you as issued. A consultancy that keeps them is keeping you.
Name reservation and initial approval
Three name options, submitted the same day. Names that reference a country, a religion or a regulated activity are refused — we check before submitting.
Licence issued
Free zone: two to three working days once the passport copies are clean. Mainland adds notarised MOA and takes a week.
Immigration file and e-Channel
The establishment card. This is where a company with no office address can stall, and where a good consultant earns their fee.
Entry permit and status change
Inside the country, the status change takes a day. Outside, the person flies in on the permit.
Medical, Emirates ID, stamping
Medical results in 48 hours, or 24 with the express fee. The residence visa is stamped after that.
Bank account
The part nobody can promise. Three banks approached in parallel, a real business plan, and proof of activity. Some applications simply fail, and we tell you when we think yours will.
